They are ready to face the world

It is Tuesday morning 11.15, weather is great, just 9 C below zero,
perfect for my walk. I don't work on Tuesdays. It is the day for my walk
and for making my calls.

Today I have to call my younger sister, she lives back home, to my
childhood friend, who lives in England, also to my sister in law, who
lives in Aurora, an hour away away from Toronto. She is not feeling
well so I call her more often nowadays.

I am getting ready for my walk, all dressed up in layers. My long black
coat, underneath my maroon sweater, my sister in law got me from Marks
and Spencer. It looks perfect and will be cozy too.

It is too windy with gusts 48 km, so I am having the two color, yellowish
green and black, printed silk stole from My Youngest Daughter. She lives
in Reading, England. It is like a souvenir for me, refreshes the moments
I spent with her last year.

It is 11.30, I am walking on Whites Road. Snow on the sides, is melting
down so water is seeping on the walkway. I wont say, it is flooded, but
definitely with lots of water.

It is good that I got my joggers, still I am walking slowly, keeping in
mind that safety comes first. I don't want to be a problem for my family.

It is 11.50, I am at Tim Horton. It is a festive atmosphere as Students from
Dunbarton High School, are here. They are enjoying their lunch break
with the company of their own choice.

I will wait to make my order, I am retired, they are still in the Ring.
They are our future, our asset, will bring happiness and peace to our world
in years to come. I trust these young faces. With heads high and smile on
their faces, it looks they are ready to face the world.
