My Time Slot at Coffee House

It is Monday bright sunny beautiful morning with 8 C below zero. It was
26 C below zero couple of days back so it is time to celebrate, to enjoy.
Spring is just around the corner. I told you. I am working part time today.
Playing Darts only. No Carpet Bowling on Mondays.
I will go home after 12.
It is 9.15 am, I am at my work place, in the library, sitting in the Billiard
room, writing my Blog also enjoying the scenic view through the big glass
window in front. Snow started melting, Birds are back from South of the
Border. Black Squirrel is back for his workouts on the wooden fence of my
back garden.
It is Tuesday, I don't work on Tuesdays. It is my Calls day. I have to call my
childhood friend. She lives in London England. She is not the person to
make calls but I know she will be more than happy to take my call.
While making our calls, we have to take certain things into account. Some
people like short calls while others are easy either way. We also have to
check the time slot too. Not too early, not too late. Sometimes we are in
different time zones. We have to make calls which suits the other person
on the line.
Sometimes that person looks not in mood. Sometimes not like to be
disturbed, enjoying his/her own time alone slot. We have to keep track of
his tone. That will be the indicator, the decisive pointer to determine that
how long our call has to be. I mean the duration of our calls.
Our purpose is to flourish our relationship, not to make a dent in the
already existing one. Anyway after my breakfast with oatmeal porridge,
stir fry egg and half a cup of tea, I spent some time on my computer,
browsing messages on my Facebook.
It is bright beautiful morning with 3 C not below zero. Time to celebrate.
I am in my kitchen, the favorite spot of my house, making carrot desert
with milk, sugar and nuts.
It is 11.30, weather is great, I am getting ready for my walk. 12.15, I am
on Whites Road. Birds saying Hi to me from tree tops. Walkway is flooded.
I am walking carefully. At my age anything might end up into disaster.
I am now at Tim Horton. It is 10 minutes walk from my place but for me
takes 20 minutes. We seniors have to be nice with our Body, not too pushy
otherwise it wont listen, wont cooperate.
Coffee House is full of students from Dunbarton High School. It is their
lunch break. I am enjoying the festive atmosphere, having small coffee with
half hot water, writing my Blog. Lot of Caffeine, I cant handle.
They are enjoying the food with company of their choice, with their heads
high and smile on their faces. It is more than enough to spread happiness
around. Everything plays it's part in changing the atmosphere around.
I am done with my coffee and writing my Blog now time to walk home.
