Our assignments from God

It is Thursday beautiful sunny morning with 13 C. I am not working today.
I will make calls and go for my walk.We have to keep our plans handy
to get busy and to make our day.

It is 10.30, I am busy with my computer. Time is running out, date of my
departure is getting closer. I have my list ready, what to do and what to pack
for my trip. Still I know it will not be over till the day before my flight. 
I mean final packing will be done at the last moment.

Last night there was a gathering in memory of my cousin. She passed away
couple of years back, her family arranged that for her. I was also there, 
we have to share such moments to give support. It matters a lot to the 
family.

There were family and close friends, one of them wanted to see me before 
my trip. Her mom was bed ridden, I used to call her every day. She passed 
away years back, but her daughter still feels connected to me. She told me, 
she will drop by some time, before I leave for my trip.

We always have to welcome the seeking souls. Another one, who is old and 
quite sick was also there. She asked me to visit her at her place before 
my departure. I have to do that too.

God provides us opportunities to brighten some of the moments of other 
people's lives. By doing that, we get inner peace and self satisfaction. 
Never skip such opportunities. I believe these are our assignments 
from God. We always have to go for that.

My daughters called me from England. They were back from work. 
Day is nearly done at their place. It is 11.30, time to enjoy my walk to 
Tim Horton, to enjoy my time alone slot, to have my coffee and to 
write my Blog.

It is 12.45, I am done here now time to go home. Flower baskets looking 
great, outside the convenience store across. I will stop there to enjoy 
the beautiful scenic view. 

When I be home, I will call two of my friends. One is my Uni friend, lives 
in Markham, 20 minutes away from my place. We don't drive so make calls 
to keep connected.

The other one is my childhood friend. She lives in downtown London. 
She is looking forward to my visit. We will spend some time together 
during my stay there.
