Last Days of the New Year 2019
Merry Christmas
and
Happy Holidays
to all
My Dear Readers
December, the 22nd, last week of the New Year 2019. It is bright beautiful
cold sunny Sunday morning with 2 C. Amazing not below zero, enough to
celebrate. My weekend plan is the same. In the morning, after breakfast,
I spend some time in the TV lounge, to be with my son.
Everyone is sleeping, me and my son are early risers. He is busy switching
channels, playing with TV remote. I am busy with my Scrabble and Sudoku
books. I watch TV but not a TV person.I am also enjoying the view of my
back garden.
It is not a garden anymore. It looks like a virgin land with white stuff all
around. The blue Trampoline, in the center, is covered under white blanket.
Pear tree, on the left, is quiet, patiently waiting for the happy days ahead,
not too far, just couple of months away.
There is always a light at the end of tunnel, keep that in mind, after
that everything will start looking fine. Patience is virtue, wins in all
circumstances. Today I have to do two loads of my laundry.
Our Dryer, in the basement, is now fixed so it will be more convenient.
I don't have to hang my clothes all around, to dry out. It is 11.15, I am done
with my laundry. I have to change my bed sheets too. That I will do later.
For now my son is going to lakes, I have to get ready and have to avail this
opportunity, to get out. It is 11.30, I am at Frenchmen's Bay, water is
glittering under the sun. I can hear the melodious music of the waves.
It is an atmosphere, to be happy, to enjoy.
It is 12.15, my son gone home, I am at Tim Horton, enjoying my time alone
slot, my coffee and writing my Blog. It is a Full House here. All tables are
taken. Mostly are families with younger kids. Some sitting with company
and friends. Drive through is also very busy.
It is 1.30, I am done, my eldest grandson just called to pick me up. I am
going home, will make banana shake and scrambled eggs for his breakfast
to make him happy. There is always give and take in all relationships.
Nothing works one sided. Same is with joint family living. Have no
expectations, try to appreciate and make contributions, in whatever you
can. Try to spread happiness around. That is also a very big contribution.
"N" is one of my friend. I take all my Readers as my friends and family
members. They discuss their family matters with me, I write for them.
Most of the times I write between the lines, but sometimes, have to
address them directly.
