Try To Make Your Day

 

Friday -- Beautiful sunny morning. Weather getting better every day. Not so cold. Just 6 C below zero. Couple of days back, it was 16 C below zero. What a change. Change is always great, changes the entire scenario. Snow is all around, will take time to melt down. 

It is 9.45, I am in my room, sitting with my computer also enjoying the scenic view through my window. Snow on my garden, sparkling under the sun like gold and silver. Such an amazing view to behold, to cherish. Trees standing quietly but look happy, enjoying the sunny morning.

Red wooden bench shining on the white of my garden. I can't see any car on driveways, in my neighborhood. All hiding in garage, waiting for orders to proceed. I can not hear much traffic on the nearby Whites Road too. It is Friday, may be People are in a holiday, weekend mood.

Nowadays I am working part time, as activities started in our Senior club. We have to wear Masks and follow social distancing. Ten people allowed to play Darts for only hour and half, twice a week. We have to avail any opportunity, available. Take it whatever is there. Due to Covid situation, we have to follow the Directives. This is a must for our own safety and for others too. 

My eldest grandson is here from London Ontario. He has couple of days off from his Uni. He will be leaving tomorrow. I am busy making milkshakes, scrambled egg and other things of his choice. It is good to put smile on the faces around, specially on the faces of your loved ones. You will get happiness in return. What goes around, comes back to you.

It is 4.30, my son is going to Home Depo, to get things to fix the kitchen basin. I am getting ready to go with him. I will walk outside to top up my steps, while he will be busy inside the store. We have to get out to change the scenery. We can go to garden, to balcony, whatever is available for us. We can move our chair to window, to enjoy the view outside. Take whatever is there, to enjoy your moment, to make your day.
