Enjoying time out

 No photo description available.

Today is Tuesday. I don't have to go to work to play Darts. I am off today. I have to make some other plans to fill in my day plan sheet. My back garden displays a different scenario. Deck is covered under white sheet, the same as the grass. There is a thick slab of ice on the glass top of my steel garden table. No more flowers in the flower bed.

It's so quiet all around. Today is the garbage pick up day for our neighborhood. All the green, blue and grey bins are lined up by the driveways, waiting to be picked up. Cars are staying still in the driveway for the orders to move. It looks like a very quiet atmosphere around.

No activity on the ” Twin Towers “, I mean on the two tall trees in the front garden of my next door neighbor. All of its apartments look vacant. Birds are still away, not back from South of the Border. It will take time I think a few more weeks to rent out the Towers apartments. Things will change.

It is 10.30, I am in my room. Breakfast is done. My computer is switched on. Blinds of my windows are drawn up. I am browsing text messages from my loved ones. My youngest daughter is calling me from Reading, England. She has taken some time off from her school. She is not feeling well. Something happened to her muscles. It will take time to be back on track. Muscles take time.

It's a very cold morning with windchill 23 C below zero. Not safe to walk around. I was lucky my son is working from home. Car was available. He dropped me at Tim Hortons. Nice of him to let me enjoy my time out. Change of scenery is always good to elevate your mood. It helps to manage your mood swings.

Staying at the same place all time is never a good option. We start feeling stuck, stagnant. It takes you downhill. We start feeling low, depressed. Try to take action before it's late. It is good to control any damage before it is done. Easy to handle. Anyway, I  am here at the coffee house, enjoying my small tea with plain croissants.

Time to go home. My son just called to pick me up. It won't be nice to let him wait. I have to get ready so many things to put on. Gloves, coat, woolen hat, stole. On winter days it takes time. Talk to you my friends later. Have a great day. Try to get busy with things you like to do to make your day. Life will be all good. No worries. Trust me.
