I enjoyed the Ferry ride

 

 It's a hot humid morning, predicting 37 C later on. It is 11.30, started drizzling. I am in my backyard. 

The flowers, red, purple, gold and white are giving my back garden a beautiful look.

Scenic and eye-catching view. My son used to be busy with his wife in the evenings working in the garden. People know that they have just a couple of weeks to enjoy the outdoors.

We don't have much time to do things in our garden in Canada. We have all four seasons in Canada, but our winter is a bit longer here. We try to enjoy making adjustments.

Spring time will be gone and there will be Fall after. We wait for that too to enjoy the colors. The trees look great with all shades of green, yellow. bright red, orange and copper.

It used to be an amazing atmosphere. We are enjoying our spring time for now. I am going for my walk to the Coffee House. The front gardens on the way looked beautiful. The plants around are loaded with all green.

Yesterday was a big day for me. My childhood grade five friend was with me. She used to live in London for years. She moved with her daughter to the Netherlands. She is visiting her brother in Canada.

We planned to meet at Union Station. I took the Go train. It was one hour from Pickering. I took the top level to enjoy the entire journey. From her place in Mississauga it was a one hour journey too.

I started at 10 am back home at 5 pm. We went to Central Island and enjoyed the Ferry ride. We had lunch together. Friends from an old period of time are rare at our age.

We have to feel lucky to have a couple or any of them. So many are gone. Others are not in good shape. I am thankful to God Almighty for keeping me mobile to do things I like.
