Don't trust the News Channels

It is Tuesday cloudy rainy day. I have to switch lights on. It was very
long weekend for me. Monday was Election day so I didn't go to work.
I mean Darts and Carpet Bowling were off in my library.
I don't work on Tuesdays so today I will be home. Have to plan my day
to get busy. It is 9.30, I am done with my breakfast, busy now with my
computer, checking Facebook messages, playing Scrabble and Card games.
I believe, we have to find something, to get busy with, to distract ourselves
from thinking negatives. It is 11.15, I am at Tim Horton. Coffee House is
full of Dunbarton High School students. It is their lunch time. It is a
buzzing atmosphere here.
I love these young faces, full of life. It looks, they have no worries. World
is like a play ground for them, to enjoy with what they want, they choose.
May God keep watching over them. May their smile, never taken away. Amen.
I am having my small coffee with half hot water, two creams, one sugar.
I know strong coffee not for we seniors. We have to know our body well.
I mean what to take and what not.
I got one vanilla dip donuts with colorful sprinkles. This is for my youngest
grandson, the Slurpee Boy, to make him happy. I will be happy too. What
goes around, comes back to you. I believe that. It works for me.
Rain just stopped. Sun smiling through the dark grey clouds. It is 12.30, the
young faces, all gone. I think, their lunch time is done. I see many vacant
seats. Couple of middle aged sitting, busy with their laptops. Some old faces,
like mine, busy, having chit chat with their company.
To me, life is great, world looks beautiful. I wont trust the News Channel,
anymore. Nothing to worry about. All is good. Done with my coffee and
writing my Blog. Now time to go home, to enjoy the scenic view, the
beautiful Fall colors, around.
