Love from England
It's June the 23rd, I am in a different city, in a different country, not in Toronto.
I believe now the world has become a global village. Boundaries don't mean anything. Just a map on the paper.
Mixed families with different castes and creeds. Schools, colleges, universities and at work places, we come across with all sorts of people at the same premises.
World is quite different from the time we were brought up. Classrooms with familiar faces of the kids from our neighborhood. Small town where everyone used to know everyone. Such a peaceful atmosphere. No hustle, no bustle, no rushing. Lots of time in hand. No pressure to finish up things right away.
Time changed. Things change with time. Every era is not the same as the previous one. My mom also used to say that it has changed so much from her time. I think change is the beauty of life.
Anyway, I am In England at my daughter's place. I started my journey from Toronto on the night of 20th June from the Pearson airport and arrived around noon the next day at theGatwick Airport. My daughter, the youngest one, was there to pick me up with her husband.
It took two and half hours to reach her place at Camberley. London is a busy city with so much traffic on roads. It's not easy to predict the arrival time. Usually the travel time on roads is much more than predicted.
My daughter just changed her house. It is a different one than I used to come. Not in Reading, it is now In Camberley. Beautiful place. It's 11.30, my daughter is at work at school. I am done with my breakfast, sitting in the back garden.
Nice shady area at the corner under tall trees and hedges around. So much green. Beautiful dark blood Lillie's, pink an white Roses. Nice breeze loaded with all the aroma and fragrance from around. Lucky me, I am enjoying every bit of it.
Beautifully expressed and described your surrounding. Enjoy your stay , by giving time for the things you love most.
