Sun smiling looks happy

It's a sunny bright beautiful morning. The weather is getting better.

It looks like summer is just around the corner. The snow is still all around. I see snow banks by roadsides. My walks are still on hold.

It is 10.30 in the morning. My daughter, the younger one, called me from Kent. She is back from school. England is five hours ahead of Toronto time.

My daughter, the middle one, will be having a long day. She has her teachers meetings on Thursdays.

My sleep was not good last night. We start having all sorts of issues at the later stages of our life.
We have to accept it.

It is 10.45, I am in my room. The blinds of my windows are drawn up. My computer is switched on. I can see the road and the path from one of my windows.

The path looks clear from here. Let's take my chances to go for a walk. I am getting ready with red woolen stole, gloves and my grey woolen pants.

The weather is still cold 16 C below zero. I picked up my black heavy winter coat from my coat closet.

My eldest grandson, the son of my middle daughter, got me this winter coat from his first paycheck. Gifts from our loved ones are like souvenirs for us.

I am all set. It is a working day. My grandson, the middle one, is working online. He is busy with his meetings. I used to go from the side door so as not to disturb others in the household.

Leaving the front door open is not a good idea. I opened the side door to leave. There is so much snow piled up on the side of the door. I had no options except canceling my walk plans.

Sometimes things are not under your control. Not a  big deal. Nothing is the end of the world. Safety always has to be taken as our top priority. No compromises on safety.

I changed my clothes. I will find other things to make my day at home. I am going to have a shower to freshen up. I will make a cup of coffee for myself and write my Thursday Blog.

I will be busy with making some calls. My computer time will be later on. I will play Sudoku, Scrabble and card games on my computer.

I will watch some of my favorite shows after. I think that is more than enough for today. No worries. I am all set. We have to take whatever is available. Life will be good. Trust me.
