Sunny morning

 

 

It's nearly the end of October. The weather is great. It is 11 C at 10.15 in the morning. These are like our summer days in Canada. Days are passing. The year 2026 will be leaving in just two months,

It will be another new beginning. Another new year. I think there is a new beginning every morning. We have a clean slate to chalk out our plans for a new beginning.

I am leaving for London, England on Thursday. Just two days to go to pack my things. To decide what to take with me. My daughters want me to take my winter coat, sweater, stole and gloves, everything for the cold days there.

It is around 12 C in London, still it will not feel the same as in Canada. The winter is quite different over there due to the humidity.

It reminds me, one  of my trips years ago. It was the wedding of my niece. My sister told me that it is 8 C, very cold. I didn't realize that 8 C would be cold in London.

I had my light jacket and sweater, which I used to wear in that temperature in Toronto. I was shivering. I learned my lesson. This time I will take my stuff keeping that in mind.

Travel is a bit tricky nowadays, especially at our age. Anyway kids are busy with work and with their family. We have to go to be with them. To keep connected.

No pain no gain. We have to make an effort to keep connections alive. We have to cherish the moments. To gather the beautiful memories. To lock in our memory box.

 I will pack my stuff to leave for England to see my daughters.
