So much Silver in my Backyard

It is Thursday bright sunny beautiful morning, cold with zero degree, feels
like 7 C below zero. Snow is all around, looks like Silver in my backyard,
giving glitter under sunshine. I don't work on Thursdays, No Darts, No
Bowling at my library today.
It is my day to make calls and to go to Tim Horton, to enjoy my time. It is
10 in the morning. My son is working from home, busy with his work on
computer. Others gone to work and school.
My youngest grandson, the Slurpee Boy is off today, busy with his video
games. Couple of workers are busy in my backyard, fixing the water
problem. It is cold and windy but nothing stops, life goes on.
I am busy in my kitchen, making blueberry shake for my son and for
myself. Slurpee Boy doesn't like that. I will make Chicken Shawarma
for his lunch. I can see two pieces of baked chicken, in the fridge.
For now I am making coffee for the workers. It is cold, they will be
happy to have that. We have to be considerate for the people around.
It is 12.30, I am at Tim Horton. My son squeezed couple of minutes from
his busy schedule to drive me here.
I am enjoying my coffee, got one vanilla dip donuts with sprinkles on,
for my Slurpee Boy. He will be happy, I will surprise him. We have to
keep trying to spread happiness around, to make, this world of ours,
a beautiful place.
Coffee House is full. It is a mixed crowd here. Students from the nearby
Dunbarton High school, enjoying with the company of their choice.
Beautiful young smiling faces.
It looks this world, for them is like a playground, to enjoy their time, their
life. No worries, nothing to worry about. May God always take care of their
smiles. Amen.
On some tables, I see old face like mine, having coffee quietly, with their
company. Not much to talk about, I think. I see couple of middle aged people
also here, busy with their computers.
It is 2 pm, I am done with my coffee and with writing my Blog. My son
coming to pick me up. I will go home, make chicken shawarma for my
Slurpee Boy. He will be happy. I have his desert too, the vanilla dip
donuts with sprinkles on. It will make his day.
I can't see any bird around, may be gone to South or busy with the paper
work at the Border. They will get their Visa, they are frequent travelers.
They will be fine.
