1st Day of December

 

Tuesday -- Beautiful cold morning with 7 C below zero. December already started, what you expect, it is Canada my Dear. White stuff showering from  above the sky. It looks a virgin land all around. Trees all decorated. Looking beautiful with white cottony flowers. Bodies of skeleton trees, dusted with white powder. Amazing.

Red wooden bench on the left side of my front garden, looking great on the white land. The land, which used to be my lawn. Weather channel predicting 10 cm of snow. Glass top of my garden table, showing that 4 cm is already there and day just started. Let us see. 

My back started giving me problems. This is our old age saga. Things start coming up at this period of our cycle of life. Body indicates to slow down. We just have to do accordingly. I mean listen to our body but don't have to be a couch potato. Have to do things in slower motion. Don't have to stop our routine activities. Remember what we don't use, we start losing. 

I was up early, also out of bed too. Sometimes we woke up but our body wont let us out of bed. We have no choice, stuck and listen to our body. In mornings, our mind not in a Mode to take drastic actions. He is also in drowsy mood. Not in a position to take decisions, to direct our body to take the right path.

For a change my mind superseded my body, I was out of bed too. It is 9. 45, I am done with my breakfast, sitting in my room, enjoying the scenic view from my window. My computer is switched on, to connect me with my loved ones. 

My back is much better. I learned to tackle these things. I know these sort of things will start coming up, like usual day to day matters at our age. What you expect with about quarter a century old piece of machinery. 

I start my day with five minutes stretch exercises, on my bed room carpet. Today I spent more time for my stretches. Hot water shower helped me out too. We Humans learn to handle whatever is there. We are able to adopt and make adjustments accordingly. We are really amazing Creatures of God. His great pieces of Creation.
