Friday -- Beautiful Christmas morning with 11 C below zero. It is a White Christmas. Snow is everywhere. I can see thick layer of the white stuff on my garden chairs and on the glass top of the table, on my Deck. Trees are giving a beautiful decorated view all around. Sun is peeping out to have a look of all that. Amazing.
It is 10.30, I am in my room with my computer. My window curtains are drawn up. I am enjoying the scenic view of the world outside. Cars are covered under the white stuff, standing still, on the driveways of my neighborhood.
My neighbor across is busy with his shovel, trying to clear the snow from his car. I think he has to go somewhere. Yes, he has gone. We Canadians learned our lessons to manage, to live with all this. Snow can not ruin our plans.
We learned how to enjoy with whatever is there. We learned to walk on lakes, at the time of winter, when it is frozen. We learned, not to give up. We Humans are great Creatures. We can make adjustments. We know how to survive and also to make our day.
It is 12.30, talks with my daughters done. They were busy with the family of their own. We have to keep in mind that kids not have much time to spend with their parents. They are tied up with so many other things. We don't have to give them hard time. Their calls, don't have to end up in embarrassment for them.
We have to put ourselves in their shoes, so to realize, what they are going through and dealing with. With family and job, not easy to find some spare time for parents. We parents have to appreciate and be supportive with whatever our kids can do for us.
Try to make their day, not to ruin their time, otherwise, they will have no option except to avoid us. We have to find things to get ourselves busy. Have to do whatever we can, to involve with, to spend our own time and have to keep keep away from other people's personal matters.
Respect everyone's emotions and privacy. Have patience. At our age, our nerves, not so strong so need more control on our emotions. This is very important, whether, we live with family or living separately.
I am deliberately, not writing, living alone. Alone is tricky word, sometimes people take it as lonely. I don't believe in being lonely. It all depends on us, how we take life. No one can make us lonely. We make ourselves lonely, can't blame anyone.
Try to live in day tight compartment, not leaving any space to enter negative thoughts. You will never be lonely. Trust me. Have a Great time, enjoy.
