Back from South of the Border

It is Sunday bright beautiful morning with 13 C. It is 9.30, I am done
with my breakfast, my oatmeal porridge, stir fry egg and half a cup
of tea. My youngest daughter called me from Reading. She is busy
with her son's birthday preparations.
My other daughter, the middle one, also called. She lives in Grimbsy.
She is busy with her classes and assignments. Her exams are next month.
It is already 11.30, my son going to lake. I will go with him. We have to
avail opportunities, to get out, to get busy, to stay away from thinking
negatives.
I am at Petticoat Creek. Lake is full of water. Parking lot is under
water. I can see people kayaking. Not enough people here. Very few
enjoying their walks. Mostly busy with fishing, some biking.
I like this place as lake looks divided into two parts. One is big body of
water, the other one is smaller and quieter one. Pathway between the two
parts, is under water too. There are some stones here. I am walking carefully on these stones to go to the main lake.
there are two bridges here. One is for pedestrians, the other is overhead
bridge for trains. Green and white Go Train is passing by. It connects
suburbs and various municipalities to downtown Toronto.
The other train, Via Rail is also passing over the bridge. It goes through
various provinces of Canada. It becomes Amtrak, at the border and goes
to States too. I always get fascinated by trains. It is one of my childhood
passions.
Lots of birds here, I think they are back from South of the Border. They are
here and now buying and renting properties. All the apartments under the
pedestrian bridge, are rented out. Birds already moved in. It looks some
having house warming parties.
It is 12.15, my son now going home, I will get down at Tim Horton to
enjoy my time alone slot, to have small coffee with half hot water and
multigrain toasted bagel.
Not many here in Coffee House. I think weather is great, they must be
having picnics, enjoying outdoors. Drive through is busy. Some people
of about my age are here. I am busy writing my Blog.
I can see the beautiful flower baskets, outside the Convenience store across
Tim Horton. It is 1.30, I am done. Time to enjoy ma walk to home. I will
take the route through the Stathmore town houses.
It is scenic and also I have to check the Rose plant. I hope it started budding
by now. I will find out. It is windy with gust 65 km. I was thinking to call
my son to pick me up. But I think I can handle.
It is better not to disturb our kids. It is their life to enjoy their time.
We have to handle things on our own. OK my Dear time to go. Have
a great day. Talk to you later.
