Like gold and silver

It is Saturday sunny bright cold morning with 9 C, looking great
after so many cloudy rainy days. I will go for my walk but I have 
to do two loads of my laundry before that. One of my daily clothes
and the other one of my bed sheets and towels.

Energy conservation timings are on weekends and at nights.
Nights not good for me. When we are old, have to be careful, if 
anything happens, will be a problem for us and we become a burden 
to our family. Our laundry is in the basement, two stairs down 
from my bed room. 

That's why I prefer weekend mornings. I start before having my 
breakfast, so not to block laundry room for others in the family. 
We have to be considerate.

Everyone sleeping, I will be done by the time they will be awake.
It is 10.30, I am done with my morning chores, was on my computer
to go through the Facebook messages. 

My youngest daughter called me, she lives in Sandhurst, England, 20 
minutes from Heathrow Airport. My middle daughter is in Milton Keynes 
for her courses. She will be back to Grimbsy on Sunday night. Her Exams 
next month. Nowadays she is busy with her studies, still finds some time 
to call me.

Not easy with the family and life of their own. Being Mom, these moments 
are precious for me. It is great they find time to connect. We have to 
acknowledge and admire our kids, whatever they are able to  do for us. 

It is 11.30, my son going to lakes, I am going with him to enjoy the scenic
view. It is 11.45, I am at Frenchmen's Bay. Water level is very high because 
of too much rain. 

Water exhibiting beautiful colors, giving glitter especially of Gold and 
Silver. I am enjoying the musical Symphony of water. Looks like a festival.

It is 12.30, I am at Tim Horton. My son gone home to be with his family.
I will enjoy my time alone slot with small coffee and maple dip donuts,
will write my Blog.

It is 1.30, I am done here but day is not done yet. I have my day plan ready 
for rest of the day. I have to wash my hair. I don't do that every day as not 
enough left. When we getting older, have to make adjustments.

Today I don't have to make any call. On weekends, people don't like to be 
disturbed. We have to keep that in mind. I have to go to my brother's place
for dinner tonight. He lives in Aurora. Nearly an hour away from my place.

Anyway it is time for me to enjoy my walk to home. I will also stop at the 
convenience store across, to look at the beautiful flower baskets arranged 
outside. I can hear birds from all around, Such an amazing atmosphere.
