Rain Rain Go Away

It is Tuesday cloudy cold morning with 5 C, rain is in the forecast.
It is nearly mid of May and we are still waiting for our summer season.
Too much rain this year and we are not out of it. Lakes are already 
full of water, flooded.

People are worried about their basements, thinking to do something, to
seal off the rain water, to enter from outside. This is expensive, needs 
lots of money. My son got some quotations for that.You wont believe, 
around twenty thousands is the cheapest.

Another big problem, they start the work right away but looks, it will 
never finish. Takes months while they promise weeks. People think 
about the basement issue but because of all that, postpone and forget 
till the next season.

I don't work on Tuesdays. Today I have to make some calls and to go for 
my walk. My daughters in England live in different time zone. Five hours 
ahead that of in Toronto. They are at work, I will talk to them later. 

My eldest daughter lives in Edmonton, two hours behind of my time. 
She must be getting ready to go for work. I talk to her at night time. 

I was busy going through my Facebook messages, playing Scrabble 
and card games, watching my favorite shows, on my computer. 

It is 11.15, I will make strawberry, banana smoothie for myself and for 
my son. He is working from home. We have to try to make other people's 
day. When we make someone happy, we get happiness in return. 
What goes around, comes around, so simple to lead a happy life. 

It is 11.30, time for my walk. It is cold and rain is on the way but I am 
all set. My rust color sweater underneath my black coat and my floral 
stole, a gift from one of my friend. I also have my maroon umbrella, 
I got from Dollarama for three Dollars.

It is 11. 45, I am at Tim Horton, festive atmosphere here. Students from 
the nearby High school, are all around, enjoying their lunch break. I can 
also see couple of people of my age, enjoying with their company.

I am enjoying my time alone, having small coffee with maple dip donuts, 
writing my Blog. It is 1.15, I am done, now time to walk home. I will go 
through the road behind the Stathmore town houses. 

It is scenic and, I also have to check the Rose plant. It was already back to 
life, may be started budding by now. I will find out. By the way, Magnolia 
tree on my front garden, looking great with beautiful pink buds all around.
